Objective: At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• practice constructing a zeal with secondary work.

Requirements
Materials
• Needle - 1 No. • Thimble - 1 No.
• Thread - as reqd. • Cloth printed with primary
worked zeal design - 1 No.

PROCEDURE
TASK 1: Practice secondary work of zeal
1 Insert the needle at the bottom of the design. (Fig 1) 2 Than cover the design with secondary work with back

Tertiary work of zeal
Objective: At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• practice constructing a zeal with tertiary work.
Requirements
Materials
• Needle - as reqd. • Thimble - as reqd.
• Thread - as reqd. • Cloth printed with primary
& secondary zeal design - 1 No.
PROCEDURE

TASK 1: Practice tertiary work of zeal
1 Start doing tertiary work Fig 1
2 Filling the veins of the leaf that is done by back stitch.
Extra knowledge for students
1 When the design is elaborated then tertiary work
for zeal can be done other with only primary and
secondary work is seen. (Fig 1)
